ROLE SUMMARY
As the Team member of The MRP (Material Requirements Planning) / ECC (Eng change control), Plays a critical role in bridging the road between production planning & Material planning by running MRP process and validating the releases along with change management within the manufacturing process. This position involves managing MRP systems, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating seamless communication between production and material planning teams. The analyst will also troubleshoot and resolve issues within ERP/ECC systems to maintain operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional / Technical:
Maintain material master data required for MRP executionRun and analyse MRP data to ensure alignment with production schedules and customer demands.Analyse supplier schedules, inventory levels, generate Short- & long-term material plans, and manage reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking.Collaborate with production planning and material planning teams to optimize material flow and minimize lead times.Maintain and monitor all plant level ECC implementation plan & ensure accurate and timely data integration across SCM department.Coordination with change implementation CFT members for NPI, ECN/MCN trails and implementation.Close monitoring of stocks and ordering in coordination with material planning for on time implementation of engineering change with no obsolescence.Address all system related release and change implementation errors, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve system release and parts timing issues promptly.Provide system training and support to end-users to improve proficiency and reduce errors.Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, production schedules, and supply chain performance metrics.Identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities based on data analysis.Act as a liaison between production planning, material planning, and IT teams to align on all change management milestones.Communicate effectively to ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes, updates, and potential issues.Facilitate regular meetings to review system performance and address concerns.Role Specific Qualification / Certification Requirement
