    Role Overview

    The Cargo Trainer cum Admin plays a dual role-delivering high quality cargo operations training and maintaining comprehensive administrative and training records to ensure operational excellence, safety compliance, and regulatory readiness across AISATS cargo operations at DXN.


    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Deliver Cargo Operations Training across key areas including warehouse operations, cargo acceptance, cargo handling, cargo rating, ULD build up/management, special cargo processes, and aviation terminology.Develop and Maintain Training Programs & Materials to support continuous employee development, ensuring alignment with AISATS standards and regulatory guidelines.Ensure 100% Compliance for Basic Cargo Handling Training (Initial & Recurrent) for all staff across the AISATS network, maintaining training validity at all times.Promote Understanding of AISATS Cargo Policies & Procedures to ensure consistent application of operational standards and SOPs across cargo operations.Introduce Industry Best Practices by communicating new methods and procedures that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall productivity.Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps, select the best instructional methods, and ensure uniform delivery across AISATS locations.Evaluate & Continuously Improve Training Delivery, reviewing tools, methods, assessments, and outcomes to maximize training effectiveness.Enhance and Update Training Programs based on operational requirements, audits, staff performance, and new cargo related products, services, or processes within AISATS.Provide On the Job Training and operational support to cargo staff, ensuring practical skill application and readiness for live operations.Maintain Safety Compliance by adhering to responsibilities outlined in the AISATS LDM, and IATA/ICAO standards.


    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's / master's in any degree.Preferred, (but not mandatory): Certification from IATA or any other recognized organization in ULD Build up, Live Animal Regulations (LAR), Temperature Control Regulations (TCR), Perishable Cargo (PER), or Special Cargo Handling.


    RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    03 - 05 years of experience in Cargo operations or 03 - 05 years of experience in L&TD for Cargo Trainings.Experience in handling cargo operations for both narrow body and wide body aircraft, including the handling of special cargo such as Dangerous Goods, Live Animals (AVI), Perishables (PER), Pharmaceuticals, Temperature Controlled shipments, and ULD build up.

The role combines classroom instruction, simulator operations, hands on practical training, evaluation, and continuous curriculum enhancement aligned with regulatory and organizational standards

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


    Training Delivery

    The trainer conducts both theoretical and practical sessions for:

    Drivers: Airside driving rules, vehicle handling, and safety protocols.Pushback Operators: Tow tug operations, aircraft movement handling, and communication procedures.LDL and any other Equipment Operators: Equipment handling, documentation, and equipment usage. Line Trainers: Coaching methods, SOP compliance, documentation practices, and driving proficiency.


    Training uses a blend of simulation tools, visual aids, and real time demonstrations to maximize learning effectiveness.


    Curriculum Development

    Develops and updates training content in accordance with DGCA, IATA SOPs and industries best practices.Aligns modules with feedback from safety and operations teams, incorporating new procedures and incident learnings.Customizes training material for refresher courses and new equipment introductions.


    Assessment & Certification

    Conducts written, oral, and practical assessments for all trainees.Maintains detailed records of trainee performance and training progress.


    Compliance & Safety

    Ensures all training is aligned with AISATS LDM and GHM.Promotes a strong culture of safety, discipline, and operational excellence.Escalates any safety concerns or deviations observed during training.


    Mentoring & Support

    Acts as a mentor for newly inducted trainers and operational personnel.Provides constructive feedback and coaching to enhance skills and performance.Supports trainees in understanding growth paths, competencies, and development opportunities.


    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's / master's in any degree.

    Job Summary

    The Manager - Talent Acquisition will support the execution of recruitment strategies to meet the operational hiring needs of aviation ground handling services. This role involves managing high-volume recruitment across functions such as ramp services, baggage handling, customer service, and technical support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Aviation operational hiring, strong sourcing capabilities, and a commitment to delivering a seamless candidate experience in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Candidate would have Bulk & Blue Collar recruitment experience.


    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment Execution & Process ManagementManage end-to-end recruitment for frontline and support roles, ensuring timely and quality hires.Source candidates through job portals, aviation institutes, referrals, and social media platforms.Coordinate interview scheduling, assessments, and selection processes.Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements including background checks and security clearances.Workforce Planning & CoordinationAssist in forecasting hiring needs based on operational schedules and seasonal trends.Collaborate with HRBPs and station managers to align recruitment efforts with workforce plans.Maintain recruitment trackers and update hiring status regularly.Candidate Experience & EngagementEnsure smooth candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.Support onboarding processes and gather feedback to improve candidate experience.Participate in employer branding activities and job fairs to attract talent.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide recruitment support.Liaise with external recruitment partners and vendors for sourcing and compliance.Support the Head - TA in reporting and stakeholder updates.Technology & ReportingUtilize ATS and recruitment tools to manage candidate pipelines and job postings.Generate basic recruitment reports and dashboards for internal review.Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and tools.Compliance & InclusionEnsure recruitment practices adhere to labor laws, aviation safety standards, and internal policies.Promote inclusive hiring practices and support diversity initiatives.


    Qualifications & Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5 - 6 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in high-volume or operational environments.Exposure to aviation, logistics, or similar industries is an advantage.Familiarity with recruitment compliance and security clearance processes is preferred.

    Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.Proficiency in ATS platforms and job boards.Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational setting.
