We are seeking a skilled and proactive Steel Fabrication Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Create and review fabrication drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).Develop and optimize fabrication processes for steel structures and components.Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.Production Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and supervise fabrication activities on the shop floor.Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to production schedules.Monitor and improve fabrication workflows for efficiency and safety.Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests to ensure fabricated steel meets required specifications and tolerances.Implement and maintain quality control procedures.Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken.Project Management: Prepare project plans, budgets, and timelines.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.Document all aspects of the fabrication process for quality control and future reference.Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental regulations.Promote and enforce safe working practices within the fabrication area.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with advancements in steel fabrication technologies and incorporate best practices.Recommend and implement process improvements for productivity and quality.Required Qualifications
