    Job Responsibilities:


    Initiate and execute Packaging projects related to New Packaging development.

    Initiate and execute Automation, productivity improvement, cost saving projects

    Develop strategies to improve efficiency and quality from PKG assets and undertake Upgrade programs

    Study existing production lines and propose debottlenecking projects

    Set-up packaging equipment for new products, change in pack format, product trial launch, also conduct trials for new packs on existing machines for NPD process.

    Work with Plant teams on all capex procurement related to packaging machines

    Solve key issues related to packaging at Plants and help in standardisation across plants

    Adherence to laid out systems and policies, generating MIS & various reports as required for the division

    Design and develop primary and secondary packaging solutions that ensure product safety, visual appeal, and international compliance.

    Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align packaging with brand identity and market preferences.

    Evaluate and select packaging materials suitable for various climate, logistic, and shelf-life requirements.

    Recommend innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective packaging options based on market trends and product needs.

    Conduct regular packaging performance tests (e.g., drop, compression, transit tests).

    Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international vendors to source high-quality packaging materials (cartons, bottles, labels, pouches, foils, etc.).

    Ensure timely procurement and inventory control of packaging materials to avoid production delays.

    Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, lead time, and compliance.

    Develop a robust database of certified global suppliers and continuously explore new sourcing options.

    Ensure packaging meets international regulatory and quality standards (e.g., EU, US, GCC guidelines).

    Maintain accurate and updated Bill of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and artwork approvals.

    Ensure all packaging complies with labelling and export/import regulations
