Job Overview:
As a Junior Architect with minimum 5 years of experience, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and development of architectural projects within the real estate industry. You will work closely with senior architects, project managers, and developers to bring innovative designs to life for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate developments. Your responsibilities will range from assisting with conceptual designs to ensuring adherence to building codes and regulations, all while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Assist in the creation of architectural designs and drawings for real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Contribute to the development of building plans, layouts, and elevations that align with project goals and client requirements. Support the design process from conceptual stages to detailed construction drawings. Technical Support: Prepare technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, electrical, and mechanical systems into architectural designs. Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with regulations. Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources in collaboration with the project manager and senior architect. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and delivery of architectural services. Review contractor bids and provide technical input during the procurement process. Stakeholder Interaction: Support senior architects in presenting design concepts to clients, stakeholders. Attend Stakeholder meetings to gather project requirements, respond to feedback, and propose design solutions. Maintain a focused approach by ensuring designs meet Stakeholder Project needs while remaining cost-effective and innovative. Quality Control & Compliance: Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of all design deliverables. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that designs are being implemented correctly. Ensure all designs comply with building regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices relevant to the real estate sector. Sustainability & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in sustainable design and construction, applying them to projects. Incorporate energy-efficient systems, green building practices, and innovative materials to enhance the overall design and performance of buildings. Software Proficiency: Use architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to produce high-quality designs and documentation. Prepare 3D visualizations and renderings to aid in presentations and design reviews.Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on real estate development and design. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software. Knowledge of local building codes and construction methods. Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction documentation, and project management. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
