    Role Overview

    We're looking for a hands-on, performance-driven Bakery Manager to lead daily outlet operations in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales growth, team management, inventory control, customer experience, and overall store profitability.This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to manage a fast-paced retail environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Store Operations Management

    • Oversee day-to-day outlet operations

    • Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures

    • Maintain SOP compliance across service, billing, and hygiene

    • Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently followed

    2. Sales & Revenue Management

    • Drive monthly sales targets and improve store profitability

    • Monitor daily sales reports and conversion rates

    • Plan local promotions and festive sales pushes

    • Upsell and cross-sell effectively through team training

    3. Team Leadership & Staff Management

    • Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff

    • Create duty rosters and manage attendance

    • Maintain discipline and resolve team conflicts

    • Conduct performance reviews and ensure accountability

    4. Inventory & Cost Control

    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement

    • Ensure FIFO compliance and reduce wastage

    • Conduct regular stock audits

    • Control pilferage and minimize losses

    5. Customer Experience

    • Ensure excellent service standards

    • Handle customer complaints professionally

    • Maintain a warm and welcoming store environment

    6. Reporting & Coordination

    • Share daily/weekly performance reports with management

    • Coordinate with central kitchen / production team

    • Monitor maintenance issues and vendor coordination

    Requirements

    • 4-8 years experience in bakery / café / QSR / retail store management

    • Strong leadership and team-handling skills

    • Good understanding of sales tracking and inventory management

    • Ability to work on weekends and during festive seasons

    • Strong communication skills

    • Basic proficiency in Excel & billing software
