    About the role


    This role is about protecting a treasury that's growing quickly :). As we traverse the journey from $8M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years, we want to ensure the highest level of financial rigour from the early days to lay a strong foundation for growth over the years.


    This is our senior-most hire in finance and you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and day-to-day financial operations. It involves working closely with the CEO, executive team, and investors to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.


    What you'll do


    Own and execute all financial operations like payroll processing, vendor payouts and collections(accounts receivables).Oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Goods and Services Tax (GST), etc.Develop and maintain financial models to support the company's strategic planning and decision-making processes.Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Oversee the company's cash management, including monitoring cash flow and optimising working capital.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.Support fundraising efforts, including developing investor presentations and financial projections.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.Oversee completion of statutory audit from a big 4 audit firm.


    What makes you a good fit


    8 to 12 years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.Building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling SaaS company excites you.You're open to being a generalist and adapting to the uncertainty of early stage.You understand budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting like the back of your hand.Past experience working in SaaS accounting is an added plus.

    What you'll do


    Tl;dr being an invisible support layer for the entire company as we scale from 60 to 100 people within a year, doing everything we can to help people reach their potential.


    Managing onboarding for new team members, everything it takes to make the new folks comfortable & kicked to get started from paperwork to onboarding checklists & even sending some cool BiteSpeed swag to welcome them.


    Managing employee data & compliances for things like health insurances, salary slips so they don't have to worry about this.


    Assisting in payroll management & reimbursements, basically getting everyone paid on time (we tried the work for free model & didn't quite work out).


    Overseeing all people operations - from picking the right gifts on occasions for the team to planning our quarterly off-sites & even managing our inventory(read: Macbooks).


    Regular one-on-ones with the team to understand how they're doing personally & professionally, enabling them to become successful by teaming up with peers & managers.

    About the role


    We want to keep our customers for life. To do that, customer success is probably going to be our most important function and we want to treat it like that. So far our customer success function has been founder-led, we have a track record of 250+ 5-star reviews and the envious net negative churn (to the extent where some of our customers pay 5-10X of what they started with).


    We're now at a point where we've scaled 10X in the past year and to do that again next year we want to double down on our existing customers. This role involves owning customer retention and making them true fans of BiteSpeed while also listening to customer feedback to form a pipe of customer insights for our product team.


    What you'll do


    Your core job is to own our customer relationships, make them successful and fans of BiteSpeed.


    Client onboarding, tracking product adoption for our enterprise customers, ensuring they are getting maximum value leading to upsells and expansion revenue.


    Becoming a trusted product advisor for our customers, helping them with all the tricks of the trade to get maximum value from BiteSpeed.


    Managing cross-sells for new products and renewals, owning expansion revenue at an account level.


    Building the playbook for our customer success function to scale for the next stage of growth.
