Position Summary
As an Interconnection Analyst, you will navigate the technical and regulatory aspects of utility interconnection for renewable energy and energy storage projects. Leveraging 4-8 years of experience in interconnection processes, you will prepare and review interconnection packages, analyse utility and regulatory guidelines (FERC, PJM, NYISO, SPP, ERCOT), and evaluate transmission and distribution tariffs, costs, and timelines. This role focuses on supporting both front-of-the-meter (FTM) and behind-the-meter (BTM) projects across RTO regions while optimizing strategies for grid integration and state incentive programs.
Core Responsibilities
Interconnection Process Management
Understand and manage interconnection requirements, processes, timelines, and tariff rules across relevant RTOs/ISOs.Track and oversee interconnection studies, applications, and follow-up requirements for the project portfolio.Serve as the primary technical lead and point of contact with ISOs, RTOs, utilities, and transmission service providers for interconnection activities.Collaborate with engineering and development teams to ensure timely application submissions and strategy optimization.Technical Analysis and Strategy Development
Identify optimal interconnection strategies using system impact study reports and grid/hosting capacity insights.Analyse interconnection results, interpret study reports, and provide actionable technical recommendations.Evaluate interconnection system costs and recommend schedule adjustments aligned with project development timelines.Application Preparation and Coordination
Prepare, review, and validate interconnection packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate applications with internal teams, consultants, utilities, and external stakeholders.Review and peer-audit engineering designs and technical data to support application completeness.Stakeholder Engagement and Negotiation
Support negotiations of technical terms in interconnection agreements.Contract and manage consultants for injection analysis, technical design, and other deliverables.Provide interconnection expertise for site selection, bid proposals, project financing, and project handoffs to execution teams.Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
Navigate, interpret, and apply utility documentation and policy frameworks, including guidelines from SPP, WECC, SERC, FERC, and CERC.Stay updated on utility, commission, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.Assist in responding to regulatory queries and ensuring alignment with technical requirements.Cross-Functional Support and Collaboration
Foster collaboration by facilitating the exchange of technical information across engineering, development, and legal teams.Participate in team meetings and maintain regular communication with team members to align project objectives.Utility Documentation Management:
Navigate, interpret, and apply utility documentation and policy frameworks, including SERC, CERC, or international regulatory guidelines.Review and ensure compliance with utility and commission guidance documents.Technical Review and Insights
Conduct in-depth technical reviews of utility study reports and integrated resource plans (IRPs).Provide insights to inform project planning, future project opportunities, and technical strategies.Education Requirements

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced BESS Design Engineer with a background in electrical engineering to support the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in designing and sizing BESS systems, creating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and working with battery and inverter technologies for residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform battery sizing and capacity estimation based on project requirements (residential, C&I, utility).
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load flow studies, and power system schematics.
• Select appropriate batteries, inverters, and system components (battery modules, racks, PCS, transformers).
• Understand technical specifications for lithium-ion batteries, energy density, DOD, SOC, IR, and other performance parameters.
• Prepare technical documentation for BESS systems, including design reports, layouts, SOPs, RFP, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and Specification.
• Analyse battery degradation and lifecycle to assist in project lifecycle planning.
• Engage with vendors for component sourcing, pricing, and ensuring compliance with design standards.
• Review vendor documentation to match project requirements and integration needs.
• Ensure that all designs comply with international standards and local regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC, UL).

Educational and Technical Skills

Review load profiles and Engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems to meet project goals.Clear understanding on the different parameters for design, selection, and sizing of the batteries as well leveraging the parameters to arrive at the most optimum sizes of the batteries.Should have deep understanding on Battery Energy Storage System design, chemistry selection, performance modelling, lifetime estimation simulations of batteries, degradation and augmentation schedules, visualization of business model (duty cycle). Position Summary
Civil Engineer - Officer will be responsible for assessing and analysing potential sites for solar installations. Focused on site planning, demolition, grading and stormwater management with stable and compliant support structures for solar panels with related foundations, and ensuring that all plans meet local building codes and regulations. He/ She will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to create detailed engineering plans, manage the permitting process, and ensure the successful integration of solar systems into existing infrastructure. Their expertise ensures that solar projects are both safe and efficient.
Core Responsibilities
Solar Project Site Assessment:
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the suitability of locations for solar installations.Consider factors such as topography, geotechnical conditions, drainage, and environmental impact.Civil Design and Permitting:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design infrastructure components such as access roads, fencing, laydowns and drainage systems to support solar projects.Conduct preliminary site evaluations including desktop studies, topography, and wetlands.Provide input on site grading, drainage, and layout optimization to ensure efficient use of space and resources.Support the civil design of solar projects, including site layout, demolition, grading and stormwater management calculations, foundation design, and structural considerations.Provide a range of drawing production work using AutoCAD and Civil3D for site layouts, demolition, grading, stormwater management (SWPPP), road profiles and utility plans.Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with AHJ, local, state, and federal regulations.Pavement design of the roadways with alignment, profile, assembly, corridors and intersections.Design gravity and pressure networks, including stormwater, sewer systems, adhering to industry regulations.Creating civil site plans identifying relevant approvals necessary.Structural Design:
Design pile foundations, module mounting steel structures, main control room foundation.Foundation design for IDT, LT & HT panels, ICR and other components in solar plant.Preparation of the detailed bill of quantities for structures basedon drawings.Design and oversee the construction of foundations for solar panels, tracker piles, inverter and substation related infrastructure, ensuring stability and durability in various soil and climate conditions.Knowledge of designing support structures for solar panels.Understanding of load calculations, wind, snow, and seismic analysis.Quality Assurance and Safety:
Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASCE 7, IBC, ACI, AISC, and local building codes.Conduct inspections and site visits as required to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.Technical Support and Problem Solving:
Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any civil and structural challenges or issues that arise.Innovate and implement solutions to optimize the design and construction process, reducing costs and improving efficiency.Documentation:
