    Location: Hyderabad

    Summary:

    The Linux L2 Support Engineer is responsible for managing, administering, and supporting Linux servers in enterprise environments. The role includes VM provisioning, OS administration, compliance checks, incident/change management, and proactive operational support to ensure system stability, security, and availability


    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform Linux OS administration including system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and uptime management.Execute image builds and OS versioning for standardized server deployments.Handle new VM provisioning, configuration, and validation as per approved build standards.Conduct OAT checks to ensure systems meet organizational and regulatory compliance requirements.Perform RPA OAT validation for automated workflows and infrastructure processes.Manage event monitoring and alert handling, ensuring timely analysis and resolution.Administer user and group management, access controls, and privilege escalation.Support and manage Veritas Cluster environments, ensuring high availability and failover readiness.Own incident management activities including root cause analysis and SLA adherence.Execute change management activities following ITIL processes and approvals.Participate in problem management and proactive problem management to prevent recurring incidents.Plan and execute OS patch management including testing, deployment, and rollback.Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation actions in line with security policies.Handle operational tickets (Service Requests and Changes) for Linux servers on a monthly basis as per agreed volume.Maintain and update build and operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.Ensure ongoing security compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.Manage support service coverage and assist with license management for OS and related tools

    Skills & Experience:

    Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, or SUSE).Knowledge of VMware / virtualization platforms.Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).Familiarity with security compliance, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.Experience with cluster management tools (Veritas preferred).Ability to work in 24x7 support environments and handle on-call rotations

    Position Overview


    Cloud4C seeks a sales professional with proven high-level expertise in driving Cloud Managed Services business and revenue growth.Qualified candidates will have a successful track record selling managed services and cloud offerings to enterprise accounts and mid-size companies.Exceptional written, verbal and client service skills are essential.Successful candidates must be able to build relationships with IT Decision Makers and CxO levels of organizations.Meets or exceeds sales & funnel targetsThis is a full-time position offering full benefits, a competitive salary and a lucrative commission structure.


    Job Responsibilities


    Responsible for selling Cloud Managed Services on Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Prior experience on Azure, AWS or GCP is mandatory.Create new revenue opportunities by selling Cloud4C's Managed Services offerings to new clients and work with the existing clients to generate leads.Generate sales leads, qualify opportunities, manage the RFP process, and close businessResponsible for partnering with the SVP Sales to develop sales targets, maintain an accurate forecast and hit quarterly quotas which have been mutually agreed uponPartner with the Cloud4C technical teams to develop and implement account infiltration strategiesDrive recurring revenue with high margin product and managed / cloud servicesMaintain overall client satisfaction • Build strong relationships with clients that will drive revenue opportunitiesCollaborate with partners and other solutions within Cloud4C to capture new accounts / opportunities when it makes business sense and results in tangible revenueTake ownership of personal education across a wide variety of products / servicesMaintain and updating CRM data for assigned accountsRapidly assimilate knowledge of best industry trends/practices/services/technologies in order to drive enhanced revenue opportunities



    Job Prerequisites:


    Must have at least 5-10 years of successful IT managed services sales experience, ideally focused on IT infrastructure & Managed servicesA strong, relevant professional network / book of business / rolodex to sell Enterprise, Commercial and SMB IT Infrastructure and Managed Services SolutionsExperience selling hosted cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, application hosting and disaster recovery solutionsAny additional experience working for IT Professional Services, systems integrators, value-added resellers (VAR) or technology consulting organizations is also a plusAbility to quickly identify client's technical needs and how that relates to business goalsExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal and client service skillsStrong presentation and white-boarding skillsClient-focused with the ability to influence others to achieve results
