Designation: Sr. Manager - VP (Transaction Banking & Supply Chain Finance)
Location: Mumbai
Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned professional with 8-12 years of experience in transaction banking, factoring, supply chain finance, or invoice finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with banks, originating new business, and driving export factoring opportunities, particularly in GIFT City.
The role demands strong product and process understanding of banking workflows, along with the ability to support both existing client relationships and new business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Originate and develop new business in transaction banking, factoring, supply chain finance, and invoice finance.Collaborate with credit, underwriting, and legal teams to structure and close deals.Lead and scale export factoring and cross border receivables financing initiatives, with a focus on GIFT City.Support servicing and relationship management for existing clients.Gather and provide market feedback to drive product development and enhancements.Monitor market trends and competitor offerings in the relevant space.Regularly report pipeline status and deal progress to senior management.Required Experience & Skills (Must Haves)
8-12 years of relevant experience in transaction banking, factoring, supply chain finance, invoice finance, working capital finance, or trade finance.Prior client coverage experience with mid to semi large corporates.Hands on experience in a global bank, fintech, or NBFC with a focus on factoring, supply chain finance, or trade finance.Strong understanding of banking processes such as KYC, documentation, settlement, and credit approval.Proven track record of originating and closing deals.Solid knowledge of product features and operational workflows in the domain.Preferred Experience
Experience in export factoring and cross border receivables financing.Familiarity with the GIFT City financial ecosystem or similar hubs.Exposure to trade credit insurance or related products.Experience in building distribution channels or partnerships.Leadership or mentoring experience for junior team members.
