    Automation test engineer Job Description



    We are looking for QA Test Automation Engineer with minimum of 5-7 years of test automation experience. Automation team lead experience preferred.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Implement and maintain test automation scripts to test our healthcare information application

    - Improve automation Infrastructure, increase automation performance and productivity.

    - Execute automation test, analysis test results and report application issues with reproducible steps


    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    Software Testing Fundamentals: Understanding of software testing lifecycle (unit, integration, system, acceptance testing) and various testing methodologies (functional, regression, etc.). Previous manual testing working experience is highly valued

    Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in coding/scripting languages for automation (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).

    Automation Experience: at least 5yr working experience in API testing, SQL database testing, and UI testing. Working experience with Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Maven is a must. Working experience of integrating test in Azure DevOp pipeline is required. Working experience or knowledge of other CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.) or tools (Appium, Cypress, or Playwright etc.) is a plus

    Framework Experience: Experience in developing test automation frameworks is highly valued.

    Healthcare industry domain knowledge: knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and medical data exchange protocols is preferred.

    Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: strong analytical ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues is a must.

    Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to effectively collaborate with team members or between teams.

    Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

    Educational: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have over 17+ years of experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of managing large teams of 250 to 600 coders. The candidate should be certified from AAPC or AHIMA, with strong leadership capabilities, client handling experience, and a deep understanding of the healthcare and medical coding industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversees the daily operations of the coding unit including workload and staffing; hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals; training; and monitoring quality of work. Develops long-range and short-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs and ensures they are implemented. Assists in planning, developing, and controlling the budget, including staffing costs, capital equipment, and operations of the coding unit. Evaluates the impact of innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures for the coding unit. Designs and implements systems and methods to improve data accessibility. Identifies, assesses, and resolves problems. Prepares administrative reports. Oversees and monitors the coding compliance program. Develops and coordinates educational and training programs regarding elements of the coding complianceprogram such as appropriate documentation and accurate coding to all appropriate staff.
