Role Overview
As the Operations Manager - Founder's Office, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end operations of the business. This role requires a strategic and execution-focused professional who can oversee Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Customer Operations, Vendor Management, Marketplace Operations, and Cross-functional Coordination.
You will work directly with the Founder to streamline business operations, improve efficiencies, implement scalable processes, and support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1) Business Operations
Work closely with the Founder to execute operational strategies and business priorities.Drive end-to-end operational excellence across all business functions.Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners.
2) Supply Chain & Procurement
Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from sourcing to customer delivery.Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement.Optimize procurement planning and vendor performance.
3) Inventory Management
Monitor inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment.Maintain inventory accuracy across warehouses and sales channels.Conduct inventory audits and implement inventory control measures.
4) Warehouse & Fulfillment
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.Ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining operational SLAs.Improve warehouse productivity and operational efficiency.
5) Logistics & Delivery
Manage courier and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.Monitor shipping performance, delivery timelines, and logistics costs.Ensure smooth last-mile delivery and reverse logistics operations.
6) Customer Operations
Oversee order lifecycle management from order placement to successful delivery.Coordinate returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer escalations.Work closely with the Customer Experience team to enhance post-purchase satisfaction.
7) Marketplace & D2C Operations
Working knowledge of Shopify, included but not limited to order fulfillment, listings, etc.Ensure inventory synchronization and seamless order processing across channels.Support product launches, promotions, and high-volume sales events.
8) Process Excellence
Develop and implement SOPs across all operational functions.Identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements.Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
9) Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Build and manage relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, packaging vendors, and other service providers.Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.Negotiate contracts and drive cost optimization.
10) Team Leadership
Lead and mentor operations teams across different functions.Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and ensure accountability.Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
11) Reporting & Business Analytics
Prepare operational dashboards and MIS reports.Track key business metrics and identify improvement opportunities.Present operational insights and recommendations to the Founder.
