About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Creative Director to lead the content strategy and execution for an upcoming YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong storytelling mindset and hands-on experience in long-form video content, documentaries, and YouTube Shorts, with a deep understanding of audience engagement and platform trends.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the creative vision and content strategy for the YouTube channelConceptualise, script, and oversee production of:Long-form videosDocumentary-style contentYouTube Shorts & short-form videosLead end-to-end content creation: ideation scripting shooting editing publishingEnsure consistency in brand voice, storytelling style, and visual identityCollaborate with videographers, editors, writers, and social media teamsAnalyse performance metrics (views, watch time, retention) and optimise content strategyStay updated with YouTube trends, algorithms, and audience behaviourDrive innovation in storytelling formats and creative executionRequired Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of experience in content creation, filmmaking, or digital mediaProven experience in:YouTube content strategyDocumentary or narrative storytellingShort-form content (Reels/Shorts)Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and audience retention techniquesExcellent storytelling, scripting, and visual direction skillsHands-on experience with video production and editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)Ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple projectsPreferred Qualifications
