    Job Description

    We are seeking a high-velocity Contracts Counsel to lead the end-to-end contracting process for our global operations. The ideal candidate is a decisive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the commercial acumen to balance rigorous legal protections with business urgency. You will serve as a strategic liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that our SaaS, IT, and professional services agreements are executed with precision and speed.


    Key Responsibilities

    Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a high volume of global (US, UK, EU, & India) procurement contracts, including SaaS, IT infrastructure, hardware, and professional services, consistently meeting Team SLA turnaround times.Follow playbook guidance and draft contract provisions from scratch when such guidance does not exist.Ensure global data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, DPF) by assessing prospective services, applying appropriate contracting mechanisms, and negotiating robust Data Processing Addenda (DPAs), Standard Contractual Clauses, and security exhibits.Issue vendor data privacy impact assessments and assess for compliance with data privacy law, AI regulations, and company policies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to distill complex legal information and provide actionable guidance to non-lawyers for informed decision-making. .Identify and mitigate business and legal risks in prospective and existing contracts and advise internal stakeholders with respect to those risks.Consult with internal and external subject matter experts as appropriate.Proactively identify, resolve, and mitigate legal and commercial risks in new and existing agreements, developing creative strategies that align with the company's risk tolerance and internal policies.Support internal stakeholders in addressing vendor performance issues, resolving disputes with vendors, and drafting termination letters as needed.Contribute to other tasks and/or projects to support the legal department as needed.


    Skill & Experience Needed

    Law Graduate, LLB with at least 5 years of experience from a law firm or another multinational technology companyProactive, self-motivated, result oriented, with excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail and confidentialityExperience with software-as-a-service, other types of information technology agreements, professional services agreements, and personal data privacy agreements.Experience with cross-border, Indian contract law, and the personal data privacy laws of the EU, UK, USA and India.Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP/E or CIPP/US) is a significant plus but not necessary.Merger and acquisition experience is a plus but not necessary.

    What You'll Do

    This is a critical role at HighRadius wherein the candidate would be responsible for managing the end to end revenue process with special attention to revenue recognition as per US GAAP - ASC 606. The role requires the candidate to be well versed with ASC 606. The role demands the person to have the ability to get into details and also be strong on analytics to sense if something is off. This role requires communicating to global stakeholders and multiple teams (sales, operations, deal desk FP&A etc) including presenting to the leadership.

    Essential duties of the position:

    Subject matter technical expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606)Perform contract analysis reviews and document reviews following ASC 606 Accounting StandardsPrepare technical revenue accounting memos in compliance with US GAAPMonitor relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure the company's revenue recognition policies and procedures are in complianceEstablish and maintain formal accounting policies, practices, procedures, and process improvements to ensure US GAAP compliance and strong internal controlsHands-on experience in handling Time & Material, Fixed Price, and Percentage of Completion (POCM) calculationManage ad hoc automation projects and support new business initiativesProvide technical revenue training to both the revenue team and other groups within the CompanyLiaison with stakeholders across multiple offices and teamsUnderstand Revenue and Order Cash business processes to drive process improvementsPrepare month-end and quarter-end presentations for managementAssist AR team in contract review and queries Desired requirementsChartered Accountant with 5-7 years of experience in revenue assurance profilesHands on experience on ASC 606
