  We're in process of hiring high skilled professionals from 8 years to 15 years of experience.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Detail design for industrial projects such as Power Plants and Oil & Gas facilities.Experience in preparing engineering deliverables and working within design consulting environments.As a Electrical Design Engineer you will have experience on desinging cableways, lighting, earthing & lightning protection layouts, including Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Cable and interconnection schedules.Ensure compliance with project standards and industry codes (international standards and codes (IS, IEC, IEEE, EN, NFP, NEC, etc.)Knowledge of ETAP for load flow, short circuit, motor starting, relay coordination, harmonic studies.Prior experience in internatinal design engineering consulting companies.CTC - Attractive Package based on candidate experienceHow to work as part of a team and with technical rigor.How to work independently with an innovative spirit.An advanced level of English.Above all are eager to learn in a multinational firm such as IDOM.

  We are looking for an Senior Substation Engineers - Primary Plant Engineer to join the team of Energy in our offices New Delhi. IDOM is a global engineering consultancy with a strong reputation in the energy sector. In the UK, we are growing to support utilities with substation projects, bringing our experience from major projects around the world from power grid and renewable energy to hydro pumped storage plants, synchronous condenser plants, interconnectors, and other critical infrastructure.

  
  

  Primary Plant Engineer. Core responsibilities:

  
  

  Lead HV/EHV substation physical design (layouts, busbars, equipment arrangement)Perform sag & tension calculations, busbar sizing, and earthing system designReview and approve GA drawings, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plansEnsure compliance with UK utility standards and project specificationsProvide technical leadership and client interface for utilities.Act as main technical contact for clients and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

  What we're looking for:

  Have Degree or master's in electrical engineering.Haver over 8 years in substation design (Primary Plant)Ability to work autonomously and lead design packages.Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.Familiarity with UK utility standards.Tools: AutoCAD/MicroStation, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, CDEGS (desirable).Prior experience in international design engineering consulting companies.CTC - Attractive Package based on candidate experienceSpanish language is a plus.Chartered Engineer status desirable but not essential.Above all, are attracted by a multinational company like IDOM.
