We've recently launched a curated beer and wine programme and are expanding our evening business and events calendar.
We're hiring a Guest Experience Lead whose entire focus is the guest - not floor operations, not staff management. Those are owned. This role exists to make every guest feel personally looked after, visit after visit.
What This Role Is - and Isn't
This is a guest experience role, not an operations role. Jaipur Modern already has a Restaurant Manager, Prem, who is on the floor full-time and owns how the floor runs - staffing, pacing, systems, service flow. You are not a second version of that. You exist to do the thing operational management can't fully do while also running the room: build a relationship with the individual guest in front of you, table by table, visit by visit.
You report to Restaurant Manager.
What You'll Do
- Own the welcome and send-off for every table - personally, consistently
- Build genuine relationships with returning guests; remember names, remember preferences
- Make warm, confident recommendations on food, wine, and craft beer
- Handle guest concerns in the moment with calm and ownership
- Manage the guest experience layer for private bookings and events
- Submit a short daily guest log to the Restaurant Manager
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in a senior guest-facing role in premium casual dining, boutique hotels, or fine dining
- Genuine warmth with guests that doesn't feel scripted
- Confidence with a wine and beer list - knowledge is a plus, curiosity is a must
- Fluent English; Hindi assumed
- Comfortable working alongside a hands-on Restaurant Manager - you own guest relationships, he owns floor operations
