Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Arrival & Pre-Alert Management • Check pre-alert documents received from overseas agents/co-loaders. • Send onboard confirmation to customers upon shipment departure. • Generate Freight Certificates and share them with customers along with ETA & ETD updates. Shipment Tracking & Coordination • Continuously track shipment movement and update customers on any discrepancies or delays. • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHAs) for Freight Certificates and MBL (Master Bill of Lading) details for BOE (Bill of Entry) filing. • Maintain close coordination with agents/co-loaders for shipment and BL status updates.
CFS Movement & Import General Manifestation (IGM) Handling • Manage and oversee the CFS (Container Freight Station) movement process. • Share IGM details with CHAs and consignees/customers for timely filing. • Ensure accuracy of IGM details and oversee EDI link filing (outsourced party coordination).
NOC Documentation & DO Release • Follow up with customers (consignees) to collect NOC (No Objection Certificate) documents for DO (Delivery Order) release. • Share NOC documents with respective agents, co-loaders, and shipping lines. • Fetch DO from agents/co-loaders/shipping lines and share it with customers.
Invoicing & Cost Booking • Review and check invoices before sharing draft versions with the Customer Service (CS) team for finalization. • Oversee final invoicing and ensure all costs are accurately booked in the system.
Container Handling & Return • Monitor container loading status to ensure smooth movement. • Oversee the return of empty containers to avoid detention charges.
