We are looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager who can drive store performance, process efficiency, team productivity, and customer satisfaction across multiple retail locations.
Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and streamlining day-to-day retail operations across stores, ensuring achievement of sales targets, operational compliance, inventory accuracy, visual merchandising standards, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, retail process understanding, and experience in managing multi-store operations within jewellery, luxury, fashion, or premium retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Performance
Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of stores.Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve conversion, ASP, and customer retention.Coordinate with store teams to achieve business goals and KPIs.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and monitor store managers and retail staff.Conduct regular performance reviews and operational training sessions.Ensure proper manpower planning, rostering, and productivity management.
Retail Operations Management
Oversee operations of multiple retail stores and ensure smooth daily functioning.Drive store productivity, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales targets.Ensure SOP implementation and adherence across all retail locations.Monitor store opening and closing procedures, audit compliance, and operational discipline.
Inventory & Stock Control
Ensure proper inventory management, stock reconciliation, and shrinkage control.
Customer Experience
Ensure high standards of customer service and luxury retail experience.Resolve escalated customer concerns and service issues effectively.Implement customer engagement and retention initiatives.
Visual Merchandising & Store Standards
Ensure stores maintain premium visual merchandising standards.Monitor cleanliness, product display, branding, and overall store presentation.Coordinate with VM and marketing teams for campaigns and launches.
Reporting & Coordination
Track MIS reports related to sales, operations, staff productivity, and inventory.Coordinate with HR, finance, marketing, and supply chain departments.Conduct store audits and share actionable improvement plans.
Desired Candidate Profile
7+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in jewellery, luxury, fashion, or premium retail.Experience in handling multi-store operations is preferred.Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and team management abilities.Proficiency in retail MIS, Excel, and operational reporting.Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.Strong understanding of retail SOPs, customer experience, and operational compliance.
Educational Qualification
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
