Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate chef to join our culinary team in Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The role requires creativity, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelinesEnsure consistency in taste, portioning, and platingHandle mise en place efficiently before service hoursInnovate and suggest new menu items based on trends and customer preferences
2. Kitchen Operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI guidelinesMonitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teamsMinimize food wastage and optimize ingredient usageEnsure proper storage of food items (FIFO method)
3. Team Coordination
Collaborate with kitchen staff and service team for smooth operationsTrain junior chefs and kitchen helpersMaintain discipline and ensure adherence to kitchen protocols
4. Quality Control
Check freshness and quality of ingredientsEnsure food safety standards are followed at all timesHandle customer feedback and make improvements accordingly
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management1-10 years of experience depending on role levelKnowledge of Indian, Continental, or specialized cuisinesFamiliarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniquesStrong time management and multitasking skills
Preferred Skills
