Key Responsibilities
In depth analysis of the product manufacturer worldwide as well as competing technologies, with focus on developing robust, cost effective, environmentally benign and safe process technologies in the field of pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates, vitamins, acetyl function chemicalsPrepare recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices(RAGAGEP) for design, operation and transportation of chemicals used and manufactured in the manufacturing plantsRead research papers, patents, attend conferences, seminar, exhibitions, visit universities and national research labs to keep updated with new technologies in the field of chemical engineering and chemistry. Coordinate technology development with external research and development agencies.Work closely with Business and R&D teams and ensure that new products are developed and produced successfully in R&D, pilot plant and finally in commercial plant with first time right philosophy.Should be willing to travel to all the site for commercialization (travel time 60%)The Person
Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's degree in chemical engineering from good institute preferably IIT's and a strong CGPA in both B.Tech and M.Tech with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Chemical Unit operations, reactor design, separation technologies including distillation, filtration, extraction, drying, powder handling. Experience of Aspen Plus (Continuous and Batch process), interest in reading research papers, technology reports and patents. Knowledge and experience in process intensification techniques. Experience of online process analytical tools, and flow chemistry is desirable.

Role Purpose
