The Liaisoning & Procurement Officer will be responsible for coordinating with government authorities, managing procurement activities, supervising infrastructure projects, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational support for the school and associated centers. The role requires strong coordination skills, hands-on experience in handling government departments, vendor management, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities.
Government Liaisoning & Compliance
Liaise with government authorities such as BESCOM, Police Department, KSPCB, BMTC, DDPI, BBMP and Educational Board & other departments & other statutory bodies for approvals and clearances.Handle grievances or compliance-related matters pertaining to the Trust and school premises.Coordinate for necessary permissions related to construction, events, safety, and statutory requirements.Maintain cordial and professional relationships with local government bodies.Coordinate with outside agencies, vendors for events and venues.
Procurement & Vendor Management
Source vendors, negotiate rates, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects, events, and daily operations.Prepare comparative statements and recommend vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.Coordinate with design vendors for banners, certificates, medals, and other event-related materials.Ensure timely delivery and quality control of procured items.
Strategic Research & Reporting
Conduct research and provide inputs on land acquisition opportunities as per management directives.Collect and present data related to new infrastructure development as required by management.Prepare reports, documentation, and MIS related to projects and procurement.

Educational Qualification
Graduate in any disciplineAdditional certification in procurement, administration, or project management will be an advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 5+ years of experience in liaisoning, procurement, or facility managementPrior experience in schools, educational institutions, or large organizations preferredFamiliarity with government procedures and documentationAbility to work independently and under pressureKannada MandatoryCandidates from the local area are preferred
