Role Overview
The Architecture / Interior Design Intern will support the design and development team in preparing basic engineering drawings, researching sustainable materials and building methods, and assisting with layout planning for hospitality and wellness spaces. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong sense of design, curiosity about materials, and a hands-on approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing basic architectural and interior design drawings, layouts, and plans.Support senior architects and designers with space planning and concept development for wellness and hospitality environments.Conduct research on sustainable materials, eco-friendly construction methods, and innovative design practices suitable for hotels and wellness spaces.Study and compile information on locally available materials, vendors, and approximate pricing across different regions in India.Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and agencies for drawings, measurements, and design discussions.Assist in preparing presentation decks, mood boards, and design documentation.Visit sites (if required) to understand implementation, materials, and construction processes.Maintain organized records of design references, materials, suppliers, and project documents.Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or Interior Design.Basic knowledge of architectural drawings, layouts, and design principles.Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software preferred.Strong design sensibility and interest in sustainable architecture and materials.Good research and documentation skills.Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly.Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach.Preferred Experience
Prior internship or project experience in architecture, interior design, or hospitality spaces.Exposure to sustainable materials, natural construction techniques, or eco-conscious design.Basic understanding of material sourcing, vendor networks, and pricing.What We're Looking For
