    Warehouse Operations Manager - Job Description

    The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee the daily warehouse operations -

    ensuring efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and team performance. This role requires a

    proactive leader who can drive operational excellence, lead warehouse teams, recruit

    and develop talent, and take ownership of system and process development, including Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation.



    Responsibilities:

    1. Operational Leadership

    Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth flow of inbound and outbound processes.

    Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals.

    Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, productivity, and process turnaround time; take corrective actions where required.


    2. Team Leadership, Recruitment &Training

    Recruit, train, and develop warehouse employees at all levels to build a high- performing and accountable workforce.

    Supervise and mentor teams, providing regular coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities.

    Plan and execute structured training programs for new and existing employees.

    Foster a collaborative, disciplined, respectful and safety-focused work culture in the departments.


    3. System & Process Development

    Take a lead role in developing and implementing the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

    Work closely with IT developers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, test modules, and track progress.

    Continuously optimize digital systems for improved accuracy and process efficiency.

    Identify automation and technology opportunities to streamline warehouse operations.


    4. Compliance & Safety

    Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies regarding warehouse operations.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

    Implement and enforce health and safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.


    5. Resource & Inventory Management

    Manage workforce planning and productivity tracking to ensure operational readiness.

    Oversee inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.

    Optimize space utilization, material flow, and resource allocation to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

    Prepare and control warehouse budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency.


    6. Process Improvement & Reporting

    Continuously review and refine warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

    Use data-driven insights and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end operational excellence.

    Prepare detailed performance and exception reports for management review.


    7. Strategic & Risk Management

    Contribute to long-term operational planning and expansion projects.

    Identify potential risks in operations and implement preventive and contingency measures.

    Drive business continuity and ensure minimal disruption during unforeseen events.


    Candidate Profile:

    Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

    A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in warehouse management or operations (2-3 years in Managerial role)

    Language: (Must -Kannada, English and Average Hindi)

    Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, Data analysis skills & experience in ERP/WMS systems and process automation projects.

    Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

    Monitor and update catalog listings across platforms - including pricing, imagery, product descriptions, inventory availability, and tagging - to ensure consistency and accuracy.

    Conduct catalog health checks and flag any delistings, content errors, or guideline violations.

    Track key operational metrics such as OTIF, fill rates, stockouts, turnaround time, and catalog completeness to monitor efficiency.

    Highlight any operational or supply challenges (e.g., low stock, high cancellations, or delays) to the category manager for corrective action.

    Coordinate with finance and planning teams for PO validation, reconciliations, and platform settlements.

    Support onboarding of new products and catalogs on quick commerce platforms as per brand expansion plans.

    Maintain and update internal trackers and dashboards to ensure real-time visibility of daily operations.

    Ensure strict adherence to SLAs and platform guidelines to minimize penalties and maximize platform visibility.


    Candidate Profile

    1-3 years of experience in eCommerce operation, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.

    Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Basic knowledge of inventory/order management systems and data tracking tools.

    Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for operational reporting and analytics.

    Role Overview

    The Senior Manager - Studio Operations & Production will be responsible for running the in-house studio efficiently - from daily e-commerce/catalog shoots to brand campaigns. This role will manage photographers, coordinators and editors, while also overseeing external vendors for post-production, campaigns and creative productions. The role demands strong operational leadership, process-building ability, and vendor management expertise to ensure smooth execution, improved throughput, and on-time delivery of all visual assets in line with brand standards.


    Key Responsibilities

    1. Daily Studio Operations

    Plan, schedule, and manage daily catalog shoots in alignment with business priorities.

    Track daily tasks and output of the studio team - photographers, editor, coordinators - to ensure targets are met.

    Monitor studio throughput, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve turnaround times (TAT).


    2. Team Leadership & Coordination

    Lead and manage the studio photography team and post-production editing team (internal editors + external vendors).

    Allocate tasks, monitor progress and ensure smooth handoffs between production and post-production.

    Foster a collaborative, positive work atmosphere within the studio, working closely with the styling and creative teams to improve efficiency and output quality.


    3. Vendor Management

    Manage relationships with post-production vendors, production houses, agencies and freelance talent (models, MUAs, stylists, etc).

    Negotiate contracts, track deliverables and ensure vendors meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.

    Maintain a vetted vendor database and periodically assess performance.


    4. Process Setup & Improvement

    Establish SOPs for pre-production, shoot execution, post-production and final asset delivery.

    Implement efficient workflows to reduce shoot-to-upload time for e-commerce

    assets.

    Maintain asset management protocols for file naming, storage, backups and archiving.


    5. Quality Control

    Conduct on-set checks for brand consistency in photography and styling.

    Oversee post-production QC - retouching, color correction and final output approvals.

    Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and legal requirements.


    6. Budget & Resource Management

    Manage the studio budget, equipment procurement and maintenance.

    Optimize resource usage for both in-house and outsourced work.


    7. Reporting & Communication

    Share weekly production and post-production status reports with the Creative Head.

    Flag risks and delays early, with proposed corrective actions.


    Candidate Profile

    8+ years' experience in studio or production operations, preferably in fashion, jewellery, or e-commerce.

    Proven track record of team leadership across production and post-production functions.

    Strong vendor management skills with experience in high-volume, multi-vendor environments.

    Expertise in workflow optimization and throughput improvement.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

    Calm under pressure with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
