Hiring for an Associate in Commercial Disputes team at Delhi location
Knowledge Areas:
Working knowledge of all, general commercial laws, practice and procedure of courts and arbitrations, IBC, Limitation Act, CPC, Company Law, Constitution. Must have a good command of spoken and written English.Must be able to analyze the problem/ issue at hand, research from different databases and draft first cut drafts in arbitrations and other commercial matters.Must be able to communicate with clients directly, if need be.Must be able to work under the guidance of a Seniors in drafting and preparing documents/ pleadings on the above subjects.Must have up to date knowledge of current commercial laws.Must be able to file documents/ pleadings before different forums with court clerks and seniors' assistance. Must be open to visiting Courts and client offices when the need arises.

Experience and Education:
A three/five-year law degree from a reputed university with an excellent academic recordOne to two years of post-qualification experience in the Commercial Litigation/Arbitration practice. Additional experience in general corporate advisory (securities / exchange control) and IPR disputes will be a plus point since the role is a hybrid between advisory and litigation. Must have been involved in few heavy / mid - Domestic & international arbitrations involving contractual disputes and general civil & commercial litigation.Must have experience in drafting replies to legal notices / civil suits/ appeals/ writs/ SLPs/ Written Submissions before various forums.
