Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Designer with 2-3 years of experience in workplace interior design projects. The role focuses on translating design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready documentation while supporting project delivery from design development through execution.
Working closely with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and consultants, you will contribute to high-quality workplace environments by producing clear technical drawings, coordinating design information, and assisting during construction.
Key Responsibilities
Design Documentation
Prepare detailed interior design documentation including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and construction details.Convert design development packages into IFC/GFC documentation.Update drawings based on design reviews, consultant coordination, and site requirements.Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and document version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordination & Project Support
Coordinate with senior designers, project managers, MEP consultants, and other disciplines to ensure design intent is maintained.Support design coordination meetings and resolve basic documentation and coordination issues.Assist in responding to RFIs, site queries, and drawing clarifications during construction.
Quality & Technical Standards
Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, fire & life safety requirements, and workplace design standards.Perform quality checks on drawings before issue.Follow company documentation standards, CAD/BIM protocols, and project templates.
Site & Vendor Coordination
Participate in site visits to understand construction progress and execution challenges.Coordinate with vendors and contractors for joinery, furniture, finishes, and material samples.Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material submissions to ensure alignment with design intent.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.2-3 years of experience in workplace or commercial interior design projects.Experience preparing construction documentation for interior fit-out projects.Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD and
SketchUp.Working knowledge of
Revit/BIM is an advantage.Good understanding of interior construction methods, detailing, materials, and workplace fit-out standards.Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative project environment.
