Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune, MH for a Composites Manufacturing Engineer. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes of composites, implementing advanced manufacturing techniques, supporting industrial and mechanical engineering tasks, and ensuring quality and safety in aircraft production. The engineer will work closely with production teams to achieve manufacturing efficiency and meet project deadlines while maintaining the company's high standards of craftsmanship and innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of composite manufacturing experience (aerospace, drones, automotive)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldProficiency in Composite Manufacturing Processes such as vacuum bagging, RTM, hand layup, prepreg and other manufacturing Engineering techniquesUnderstanding and experience in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles, AS9100D quality principlesSkills in Machining and working with composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plasticsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in drawing sheetsExperience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plusExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work on-site in Pune, MH
Daily duties
- Work on Handlayup, vacuum bagging, raw material processing 60% on daily basis
- Work on Composite fabrication on daily basis, process and manufacturing optimizations, quality assurance, raw material purchase upto 40%
- Work on Cad modelling using Solidworks 30% on aircraft detailed assembly
