Role Description
Identifying potential vendors for related material procurement & labor suppliers.Compare & evaluate offers from suppliers & preparing comparative statementsNegotiate with vendors/suppliers for pricingTrack Orders until ensuring timely delivery of materials to siteReview quality of purchased products & specifications with site project managerCorrespondence & dealing with suppliers, carriers regarding shortages/rejections by site personnelMaintain the details eg., Vendors, quantities, prices into internal database.Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information & purchases.Prepare reports on purchases including cost analysisMaintenance of progressive expenditure statement project wiseProcurement as per BOQ & place order if necessary, in consultation with site personnel.Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E. (Civil)Proficiency in MS Office6-8 years of experience in procurement of construction, plumbing, electrical, and interior materials Read Less
