Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop
mechanical and automotive components using CAD toolsCreate 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for:
1.Suspension components (arms, knuckles, brackets, mounts).
2.Subframes, chassis brackets, and mounting structures.
3.Layout-driven parts based on vehicle packaging requirements.
Modify and iterate designs based on
engineering inputs, analysis feedback, and manufacturability.Work closely with
CAE, vehicle dynamics, and manufacturing teams to support design requirements.Assist in defining and maintaining
chassis hard points and component layouts.Participate in
design reviews and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) discussions.Maintain
CAD data, drawings, BOMs, and version control.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering.Strong proficiency in
any one CAD software: Solidworks / Siemens NX / CATIA.Basic knowledge of
vehicle dynamics & powertrain will be appreciated.Ability to interpret engineering requirements and convert them into
practical CAD designs.Willingness to learn and work on
vehicle-level systems.
