About the Role
As an Industrial Trainee in Finance Controllership, you will play a critical role in assisting with both internal and external financial reporting. You will support the team in preparing financial statements during audits, as well as regular reporting cycles. Your responsibilities will include performing balance sheet account reconciliations, preparing management reports, and conducting variance analysis to offer business insights. You will also assist with the consolidation of inter-company transactions and ensure accuracy across all financial reporting. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in accounting standards and finance operations while contributing to the overall financial health and transparency of Navi.
What We Expect From You
Perform internal and external financial reporting and prepare financial statements during audits and regular reporting cycles.Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Strong understanding of Fixed Assets management and accounting.Draft and review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.Prepare management reporting and provide analytical MIS for business insights.Conduct variance analysis from prior periods and work with relevant teams to explain the variances.Manage consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations for accurate reporting.Conduct various reconciliations at the organization level to ensure completeness and accuracy.Must Haves
Deep knowledge and understanding of accounting standards, accounting principles, and their practical application.Auditing experience as an auditee is preferred.Hands-on experience with accounting standards, audit methodologies, and their execution.Proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to handle large data sets and perform complex analyses.Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.Inside Navi

About the Role
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Business Operation teams overseeing Litigation charter and play a pivotal role in managing complex legal matters and ensuring operational excellence. As the Team Leader for Insurance Operations & Litigation, you will be responsible for managing Health Claims Ombudsman cases & other litigation matters. You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and optimize day-to-day operations. Additionally, you will contribute to insurance operations, including policy management, customer service, and administrative support.
What We Expect from You
-Case & Litigation Management: Manage insurance disputes referred to the Ombudsman & any legal forum, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines. Represent the company in hearings, preparing legal documents (SCNs, responses, etc.) and presenting arguments.
-Legal & Strategic Guidance: Provide legal advice on Ombudsman-related matters and collaborate with internal teams (Claims, Legal, Compliance) for accurate case handling.
-Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, staying informed about industry regulations. Generate reports on policy issuance, cancellations, and renewals, providing insights into operational performance and KPIs.
-Data Management: Maintain comprehensive & accurate records of policyholders, claims, litigation particulars and underwriting data for informed decision-making.
-Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline case handling, documentation, and communication and win rates.
-Team Management & Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Claims, Legal, and Compliance to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues efficiently. Provide support and guidance to team members, ensuring that the team is operating effectively and meeting performance goals.
Must Haves
-A BDS, BHMS, BAMS, or MBBS qualification
-Proven experience in operations, insurance litigation, Ombudsman cases, or similar legal roles.
-Familiarity with regulatory bodies like the Insurance Ombudsman is desirable.
-Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data collation and analysis.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess information and draw logical conclusions.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
-Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
-Creative, solution-oriented mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
