We are looking for a passionate and technically strong 3D Printing Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing team working on cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies across polymers, composites, metals, and technical ceramics.
We are seeking a highly motivated engineer with hands-on experience in additive manufacturing technologies, machine operation, process optimization, and product development. The candidate will work on developing high-performance functional components and next-generation manufacturing systems using multiple 3D printing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and optimize various 3D printing systems and workflows.Work on additive manufacturing technologies including:FDM / FFFSLA / DLPSLSBinder JettingComposite and high-performance material printingPrepare and optimize CAD models for additive manufacturing.Perform slicing, support generation, orientation optimization, and print parameter tuning.Develop and test new printing materials, process parameters, and post-processing methods.Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams for prototype and production development.Troubleshoot print failures, dimensional inaccuracies, and process inconsistencies.Support R&D activities related to advanced materials, lightweight structures, and high-performance engineering applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.Strong understanding of additive manufacturing principles and workflows.Experience with slicing and design software such as:Fusion 360SolidWorksCuraSimplify3DMaterialise MagicsBlender / Meshmixer (preferred)Understanding of:3D printer hardware and calibrationMaterial behavior during printingDimensional accuracy and print optimizationPost-processing and finishing techniquesAbility to independently manage print operations and development tasks.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with engineering materials such as:Carbon fiber compositesNylon and reinforced polymersTechnical ceramicsMetal additive manufacturingKnowledge of industrial additive manufacturing systems.Exposure to scanning, reverse engineering, or topology optimization is a plus.Hands-on experience with machine building or modification is highly preferred.
