Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing client history, goals, hurdles and insights for strategic development
• Develop media plans and recommendations to coincide with media strategy and KPIs
• Lead in the development of all major presentations/decks. Gain appropriate internal approvals prior to release to the client
• Maintain strong working relationship with client and internal constituents
• Identify opportunities for the client growth
• Notify agency management for client issues/problems
• Ensure documentation of client conversations and agreements through conference reports
• Ensure all client materials/correspondence are on strategy and of the highest quality
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Keep self-abreast on the current on events, latest trends and strong industry knowledge.
• Ensure that media plans are well placed and maintained effectively, meeting the desired budget and impressions.
• Review and propose media spend adjustments according to performance and market conditions
• Track media markets using data gathered from research, analysis of market trends, media supply availability, new market opportunities, and competitive activity.
Skills/Competency/Experience
• Practical knowledgeable & exposure about and experienced with the concepts, approaches and issues involved in traditional media planning. Understanding of Digital Ecosystem will be added advantage
• Familiar with the timelines, processes and needs of the implementation of all media
• Proficient in all syndicated and proprietary media applications.
• Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Able to tap into proprietary consumer insight applications or alternative sources for more in-depth analysis.
• Keep abreast to the development and trends in the ever-changing media landscape.
• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
• High level of organization and analytical skills
• Proven experience of working closely with the team
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Exceptional organizational and management skills along with financial acumen
• Strong ability to follow through on commitments.
• Working knowledge of Media Softwares like BARC, TAM, MAP
