Role Summary
The MSME and MSME Scheme Implementation Expert will be responsible for identifying MSME needs, guiding entrepreneurs on Central and State government schemes, facilitating linkages, and ensuring smooth implementation of incentives across finance, technology, skills, marketing, infrastructure, and quality interventions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheme Awareness & Guidance
Provide MSMEs with end to end information on schemes related to:
Finance (Credit, CGTMSE, Interest subsidies)Technology upgradation (ZED, Lean, cluster development)Marketing and Export supportSkill development, EDP trainingInfrastructure (industrial estates, plug and play facilities)Quality improvement (testing, certifications)2. Enterprise Diagnostics & Handholding
Conduct need assessment surveys for MSMEs.Prepare enterprise specific action plans for accessing schemes.Support MSMEs in completing required documentation.3. Institutional Coordination and Capacity Building
Liaise with Banks, DICs, SIDBI, KVIC, NSIC, District and State Government agencies, Testing labs, Technology centres, Industry associations & cluster groupsEnsure MSMEs / Associations get regular access to institutional programmes.Facilitate awareness programmes, and scheme specific workshops along with institutions.4. Infrastructure & Logistics Facilitation
Guide MSMEs on Common Facility Centres (CFC), Industrial parks policies of central and state Govt, Warehouse and logistics schemes, Transport subsidy programmes etcFacilitate linkages to logistics and supply chain service providers.5. Monitoring of Scheme Uptake
Maintain MIS for applications submitted, sanctioned and benefits received by MSMEs.Highlight bottlenecks and suggest policy improvements.7. Reporting & Documentation

Role & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
ESG Analysis and Strategy Design: Analyzing ESG-related activities and developing strategic initiatives for responsible business practices and sustainable development.
Strategy Implementation: Defining and implementing ESG strategies that integrate with revised business models to meet current needs and drive future growth.
Climate Risk assessment: Capability to do physical & transition climaterisk assessment, scenario analysis, stress testing, PD, LGD, ICAAP.
Program Development and Reporting: Creating sustainability/ESG programs and associated reporting. This includes conducting materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and identifying metrics/KPIs in line with sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI, BRSR, IIRC, SASB and others. The candidate will also prepare both internal and external reporting materials.
Research and Studies: Conducting sector and market research with a focus on ESG topics for clients.
Project Management: Managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring quality, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.
Market Research and Business Development: Engaging in market research and supporting business development activities to expand the company's reach and influence.
Key Competencies:
Sustainability Expertise: Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks, including BRSR, GRI Standards, GHG, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2, UNSDGs, IIRC, ICMA, CDP, and DJSI.
Hands-on experience of GHG accounting, ESG rating support (CDP, DJSI), ESG risk assessments, drafting sustainability reports.
Regulatory Acumen: Good understanding of current and emerging sustainability-related regulatory requirements
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications. Working knowledge on different sustainability platforms like Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Salesforce Net zero cloud etc. Would be added advantage.
RfP/RfQ/RfI Experience: Strong experience with Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, and Requests for Information.
