    Role Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and technically proficient Junior Architect to join our esteemed architecture team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career architect with a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a drive for professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in architectural design, an understanding of the technical aspects of building construction, and a strong commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions in a collaborative environment. You will be working on high-profile projects, contributing to all stages of design development and execution, and collaborating closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Design Development: Support the design process by assisting in the creation of architectural concepts, preliminary designs, and detailed design documentation. Help translate design ideas into clear, executable plans.Technical Drawings & Documentation: Produce high-quality architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and other design software. Ensure all documentation complies with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.3D Modelling & Visualization: Create accurate 3D models, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design intent to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Utilize rendering software such as Sketch UP, Lumion, Rhino, 3DS Max, or similar platforms.Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate various design elements. Ensure seamless coordination between architectural design, structural systems, and other disciplines.Site Analysis & Surveys: Assist in site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather data essential for design development. Help evaluate site constraints and opportunities to inform design solutions.Code Compliance: Ensure architectural designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. Assist in preparing documents for permitting and regulatory approvals.Client Interaction: Assist in preparing and presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders. Contribute to client meetings and project updates, addressing client feedback and incorporating their requirements into the design.Project Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized project files and documentation, tracking project progress, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Assist in preparing progress reports for internal and client-facing meetings.Sustainability Integration: Contribute to the integration of sustainable design principles, green building technologies, and energy-efficient strategies into architectural solutions.Research & Development: Stay informed of current architectural trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices to continually improve design quality and process efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in architectural design or related architectural roles. Internships and academic projects will be considered if relevant.Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Sketch Up, Rhino, and other architectural design tools and 3D rendering software is essential.Knowledge: Familiarity with architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methodologies. Understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.Skills:Strong design and visualization skills, with an ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.Excellent drafting and technical drawing skills.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, with a proactive approach to learning.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.Effective time management and organizational skills.Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, showcasing your creative abilities, technical proficiency, and project experience.
