Most large-scale projects are for major General Contractors and Construction Managers (e.g., Tishman, Turner, Lend Lease).
The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and experienced in architectural metals, glass systems, signage, construction management, or mechanical engineering. This role requires strong multitasking capabilities, as multiple projects are active simultaneously.

Coordinate with design and engineering teams
Develop and revise shop drawings
Manage approval process through multiple iterations
3. Procurement
Solicit vendor pricing
Assist in estimating with senior management
Execute material purchasing
4. Samples
Coordinate fabrication and delivery of required samples
Ensure compliance with contract documents
5. Fabrication
Issue work orders to production
Ensure proper execution of manufactured products
6. Installation
Coordinate with installers
Ensure proper documentation (field reports, sign-offs)

Key Responsibilities
1. Takeoff & Scheduling
Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings
Review scope and compare with sales orders
Identify discrepancies or errors
Develop project schedules and Gantt charts
Maintain project tracking sheets
2. Shop Drawings
Coordinate with design and engineering teams
Develop and revise shop drawings
Manage approval process through multiple iterations
3. Procurement
Solicit vendor pricing
Assist in estimating with senior management
Execute material purchasing
4. Samples
Coordinate fabrication and delivery of required samples
Ensure compliance with contract documents
5. Fabrication
Issue work orders to production
Ensure proper execution of manufactured products
6. Installation
Coordinate with installers
Ensure proper documentation (field reports, sign-offs)
Confirm client acceptance of delivered work
Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret construction documents (plans, details, specifications)
Ability to translate drawings into material takeoffs and fabrication instructions
Technical Knowledge
Metal fabrication (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass)
Glass systems and architectural assemblies
Plastics, wood, paint systems
Screen printing, engraving, waterjet, laser cutting
CNC machining and LED lighting
Software Proficiency
Microsoft 365
MS Excel, MS Word
AutoCAD
Adobe Suite
Additional Requirements
Typing speed: 50 WPM minimum
Strong verbal communication skills for client coordination
Typical Project Workflow
Review project scope with Sales and Production teams
Develop detailed project schedule based on milestones
Assist with shop drawings and drafting
Coordinate engineering (including PE-stamped drawings when required)
Submit drawings, samples, and prototypes for approval
Calculate material requirements and coordinate procurement
Direct field survey teams and coordinate with other trades
Oversee fabrication and ensure quality control
Track all project components using control sheets
Coordinate installation logistics and field readiness
Address punch list items and closeout documentation (As-Builts, LEED, etc.)
Manage change orders and coordinate pricing/approvals

Shift: US Eastern Standard 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Requirement: Verbal & written communication skills in English
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years experience required in Project Management

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager / Project Engineer to execute projects within a high-end architectural fabrication facility specializing in metal, glass systems, and signage. Most large-scale projects are for major General Contractors and Construction Managers (e.g., Tishman, Turner, Lend Lease).
The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and experienced in architectural metals, glass systems, signage, construction management, or mechanical engineering. This role requires strong multitasking capabilities, as multiple projects are active simultaneously.
We work on some of the largest projects in the New York metropolitan area and are looking for someone who can grow with the company and become a long-term asset.
