About the Role:
As a US Tax Senior, you will play a key role in expanding our tax outsourcing services, specifically targeting CPA firms across the United States. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of tax professionals who are well-versed in U.S. business tax regulations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Review complex Form 1040 tax returns for High Net-Worth Individuals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state tax laws. Analyze and apply proprietary tax strategies tailored to HNI clients, including planning around investments, charitable contributions, and multi-state filings. Lead and mentor tax staff, providing technical guidance and ensuring consistent quality across deliverables. Stay current with tax law changes, especially those impacting high-income individuals, investment income, estate planning, and alternative minimum tax. Ensure accurate Book-to-Tax Reconciliation, validating income, deductions, credits, and carryforwards. Utilize advanced tax technology platforms for efficient review and workflow management. Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating complex matters to senior leadership when necessary. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client financial data and firm information. Drive team accountability and ownership, ensuring KPIs related to quality, timeliness, and budget are consistently met. Participate in scenario modeling and tax planning, including impact analysis of proposed regulatory changes. Manage tax provision and compliance processes, improving operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Contribute to process improvements, implementing best practices and automation where applicable. Support client relationships, offering strategic insights and proactive tax planning recommendations.Qualifications:

As a US Tax Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our tax outsourcing services, specifically targeting CPA firms across the United States. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of tax professionals who are well-versed in U.S. business and individual tax regulations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Review partnership tax returns
Oversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clients
Develop relationships with staff
Ensure that Seniors and Staff are up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Provide both leadership and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff
Attentive participation in US Corporate Tax training modules and on the job trainings.
Able to prepare a simple, straight-forward Business or Individual Income Tax Return.
Preparation of form 1065 federal tax return and state tax returns
Thorough review of document and application of any changes in tax rates, tax laws for US tax return preparation
Ability to identify any technical issues on the engagements and bring it to the notice of the lead to reach the desired resolution
Able to transfer the income and expenses, and assets and liabilities into a tax return format, to ensure that the Book-To-Tax Reconciliation is properly prepared and in balance.
Able to successfully navigate Tax Technology used for tax returns.
Preparation of US (Federal/State) Corporate, Partnership tax returns (Form 1120/1065, etc).
Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance.
Utilize available tax technical resources to enhance US tax knowledge.
Keep up-to-date with technical developments for business area.
Responsible for self-review of deliverables before handing them to Senior / Assistant Manager.

Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Experience with managing projects / clients including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence and excellent technology and research skills.
Software skills - like CCH and Ultra tax would be a plus.
Preferred Skills:
An understanding of US accounting principles, IRS, internal regulations of both GAAP and US GAAP
Ability to multi-task tax engagements, track the status across all engagements, and drive their completion.
Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate with professionals within the organization and with the clients.
