Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional for the role of Senior Executive - Logistics to manage and oversee logistics operations for medical diagnostic products.
The role involves transportation coordination, inventory management, warehouse operations, vendor coordination, regulatory compliance, and ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
Plan, execute, and optimize logistics operations for transportation and distribution of IVD products
Ensure timely delivery of products to hospitals, laboratories, distributors, and customers
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and transport partners
Monitor movement of goods from warehouse to delivery destinations
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability
Maintain accurate records of stock movement in warehouse management systems (WMS)
Coordinate with internal teams for inventory planning and replenishment
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure logistics operations comply with healthcare and IVD industry standards
Maintain shipping records, invoices, delivery documents, and transport documentation
Ensure packaging and transportation compliance for medical diagnostic products
Transportation & Distribution
Coordinate transportation schedules and route planning for efficient deliveries
Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive products, where applicable
Monitor transportation timelines and optimize delivery efficiency
Customer & Vendor Coordination
Communicate with customers regarding dispatch schedules and delivery updates
Resolve logistics-related issues and coordinate with vendors and transporters
Maintain smooth coordination between warehouse, sales, and service teams
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare logistics reports related to inventory, delivery timelines, and transportation costs
Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements
Support management with logistics data and operational insights
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
3-6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or IVD industry preferred
Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
Knowledge of GDP/GMP and regulated industry logistics preferred
