Technical Leads are embedded into product teams and work directly with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to influence how systems are designed, built, and evolved. Role OverviewThis is a hands-on technical leadership role for a product-minded engineer who wants meaningful ownership over features, systems, and technical execution.
You will work directly with founders, CTOs, and product leadership to design and ship production systems. You will lead feature execution, guide technical direction at the team level, and mentor engineers while remaining deeply involved in the codebase.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from early architecture through scale, and who wants strong product exposure without taking on full organizational responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to shape technical direction and feature scopeLead the design and execution of core product features from early architecture to productionSplit time between hands-on development and technical leadershipBreak down ambiguous product goals into clear, actionable technical plansTranslate high-level initiatives into clear PRDs and technical documentation when neededOwn feature quality, testing, performance, and long-term maintainabilityPerform code reviews and mentor engineers in building scalable, product-focused systemsGuide architectural decisions with an emphasis on simplicity, reliability, and growth readinessDrive incremental improvements to code quality, performance, and developer workflowsUse AI-augmented development workflows, including agentic coding patterns and basic production guardrails, to increase delivery speed and system quality
Technical Requirements3+ years of professional software engineering experienceProduction experience with
React and Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworksStrong knowledge of
TypeScript and modern frontend practicesBackend experience with
