Associate Analyst - Data Processing
Role Overview
The Analyst is responsible for executing data processing tasks for low to medium complexity projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while collaborating with internal teams such as SP, PM, and Client Service. The role focuses on execution excellence, quality control, and process adherence within Toluna's global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Execute data processing activities including scripting, tabulation, and data validation using Quantum, SPSS, and Crunch Work on low to medium complexity projects with guidance from Senior Analysts/Team Leads Perform quality checks (QC) on outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications Ensure on-time delivery of assigned tasks in line with project timelines (SLA adherence) Support preparation of tabulations, banner setups, and output formats as per client requirements Participate in project kick-offs, internal reviews, and handover calls Collaborate with SP (Survey Programming) and PM (Project Management) teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth project flow Maintain and update project documentation and process trackers Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices defined within Toluna
Specific Accountabilities
Deliver assigned tasks with high accuracy and minimal rework Track and complete revisions/updates within defined timelines Proactively communicate issues, risks, or delays to Senior Analysts/Team Leads Ensure compliance with internal systems and administrative tasks (e.g., timesheets, portals, internal tools like GreytHR where applicable) Actively participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and trainings Build working relationships with internal stakeholders (SP, PM, Client Service teams) Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and continuous improvement mindset
Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of Quantum, SPSS, and/or Crunch Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail in data validation and QC Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Basic understanding of market research lifecycle and data structures
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline MBA preferred (not mandatory)
Experience
1+ years of experience in Market Research / Data Processing Hands-on experience with DP tools (Quantum/SPSS/Crunch) Exposure to global projects and stakeholder interactions is an advantage Experience working within a shared services / global delivery model preferred
