Job Summary
Responsible for providing technical formulation support and driving business development for a portfolio of excipients including binders, disintegrants, co-processed fillers, coatings, solubilizers, injectable-grade excipients, and oleochemicals. The role involves close interaction with pharma customers to support product selection, resolve technical challenges, and expand business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Services
Provide formulation support for solid oral, liquid, topical and injectable dosage forms
Recommend suitable excipients based on application and performance requirements
Co-ordinate and support for formulation trials in Principals laboratory
Troubleshoot customer formulation challenges at R&D and manufacturing facility
Deliver technical presentations, trainings, and customer seminars
Business Development
Develop new customers and applications for assigned excipient portfolio
Manage and grow existing key accounts
Generate leads, support development, co-ordinate with Principals and internal regulatory and sales team and support commercial closures
Achieve sales targets and revenue growth
Customer Engagement
Act as a technical consultant to R&D, QA, and procurement teams
Conduct regular customer visits and provide on-site support as required
Build long-term customer relationships
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical excipients & formulation science
