    Job Description

    Responsible for effective day to day crew operation, planning, placement of seafarers onboard managed vessels. Ensures crew changes are planned at economical and convenient ports, compliance in CMS with regards to crew certification, training and documentation. Monitoring compliance of seafarers for respective vessels w.r.t certification and training. Assist Crewing Manager in planning, approvals and deployment of seafarers for respective fleet as per MSMC


    Job Responsibilities

    Compliance with vessel related statutory, regulatory, Wallem, Union and Client's requirementsResponsible for compliance with operational responsibilities in Crew Management SoftwareResponsible for compliance with Oil Major Matrices (Q88 & OCIMF SIRE) on Tanker FleetEnsure a complete understanding of crewing and company KPI's and compliance with the sameResponsible for day-to-day management of the fleet.Responsible for timely planning of seafarers and compliance in CMSCommunication with seafarers and their familiesEnsure error free pre-joining documents handed over to seafarer and briefing completedResponsible for on time relief, timely placement of crew onboardReport performance issues of support team members to Line ManagerReport performance issue and on-board conflicts to Line ManagerFor Tanker Fleet - To update OCIMF-SIRE using CMS/ Q88 software.Responsible for maintaining Minimum Safe Manning Certificate (MSMC)/ P&I club certificate for vessels in respective fleetResponsible for arrangement of Crew related dispensation as required from flag state and ensuring closure within stipulate timeResponsible for closure of audit findings in PSC/MLC related to crew documentation/ certification/ trainingPlan and control expenses as per OPEXResponsible for timely processing of crew claims in CMSSupport Manager in maintain crew budgetUtilizing knowledge of ship, owner and trade specific requirements to improve crew planning, selection, retentionAlign crew skills and specific vessel needs while placement of seafarersEscalate concerns to Crewing ManagerNever walk past a quality problemLiaise through efficient and close loop communication with all stakeholders


    Job Requirements

    Minimum 5-7 years' experience in similar positionBachelor's Degree or Degree in Maritime / Logistic or related disciplinesAdequate knowledge of Advanced Shipboard Operations (Deck / Engine / CateringFamiliarization with International Regulations (SOLAS / MARPOL / ISPS)Working Knowledge of COMPAS Application.Effective communicator with strong command of English.

    Requirements

    Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Marine Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years' experience in operations, service coordination, logistics, project coordination, including Lifeboats & Rescue Boats (LSA), Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE), Navigation & Communication systems, Ship Repair, Underwater Services & Maintenance, UTM, Tank Inspections, Various testing and analysis and other technical marine solutionsExcellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, engineering, or technical services industry will be an advantage Read Less
