Sr. ESG Specialist
The Senior ESG Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's ESG initiatives by preparing reports, coordinating compliance activities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills, up-to-date knowledge of ESG standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in sustainability practices across all projects.
Job Description
Support the development and integration of ESG strategies for renewable energy, EPC, and industrial projects.Assist in ensuring compliance with international sustainability regulations and standards (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, CDP) and local requirements in Turkey, UK, Germany, and the EU.Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable finance instruments (e.g., green bonds, sustainable loans).Calculate carbon footprint, conduct climate risk assessments, and support net zero strategies for projects.Monitor and report on ESG KPIs for renewable energy, EPC, and industrial projects.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in ESG management or sustainability roles, preferably within EPC or renewable energy sectors.Strong knowledge of ESG topics and international standards (GRI, TCFD, CDP, CSRD).Familiarity with Turkey, UK, German, and EU ESG regulations.Experience in carbon footprint calculation, climate risk assessment, and net zero strategies.Understanding of sustainable finance instruments (green bonds, sustainable loans).Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Fluent in English, with strong business and technical writing skills.Certifications such as LEED, ISO 14001, or GRI Certified are preferred.
