Job Description
Manage and execute month-end close activities, including communicating deadlines and tracking completion across functional teams Perform reconciliations, audits, and reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records Prepare individual, consolidated, and divisional financial statements along with detailed variance analysis Develop and present financial reports and decks to support business decision-making Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and addressing audit inquiries Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes through analysis, reporting, and financial modeling Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying key variances and trends Maintain and support financial systems such as Workday and Concur, including user training and troubleshooting Execute ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as assignedRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA preferred) Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting, including full ownership of month-end close processes Strong experience in financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting within high-volume environments such as staffing, IT consulting, or professional services Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred) and strong experience creating financial reports and presentations (PowerPoint preferred) Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial controls Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday Financials, and expense platforms such as Concur Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhy Join Pinnacle Group?
